It's a torture device that teachers use on you because 7 FUCKING HOURS OF SCHOOL isn't enough. YOU GET HOME AT 3:30 AND NOW YOU ONLY HAVE 5 HOURS LEFT TO DO SOMETHING ELSE THAN LEARN, RIGHT?
