A musical group that is formed by a reality show or survival show, typically by one that’s of musical descent, that disbands at a point in time either by contract or a situation inside of the group. The term usually refers to the four groups formed by M-Net’s South Korean Survival show Produce 101, IOI, Wanna One, Iz*One, and X1. However, can apply to other groups across the world if they fit the requirements.
Although formed by a different show, KEP1ER is still a Produce group as they only have a 2.5 year contract before they’re forced to disband.
