Hella

Possibly the dumbest adjective that the world of slang has ever known. Its been proven that it sounds stupid with every word in the english language. 96% of people that use the word are proven to be total losers. A person that uses this word as a serious adjective immediately becomes unattractive to the opposite sex, exept if used in front of "copter pilot"

That guy just got hella air off that jump bro!
Whoa, brody, check out that hella rad Jeep dude!
If you see Brody, Quinn, Tristan, Hayden, Elijah, Fallon, Luca, Ryder, Atticus or Ella, tell them that they have hella stupid names!

A term used in Northern California to describe an extreme.

Adjective:
"That guy is hella chill."

Noun:
"I got hella."

Adverb:
"NorCal is hella better than SoCal. Those stupid fucks."

Hella

1. Originated in Oakland in the mid-70s.
2. Was originally pronounced "hell of" (NOT "hell of a").
3. Was funny because it confused people.
4. First used in a movie: E.T. (1982). Boy looks in fridge and mumbles to himself, "nothin' but hella shit in here."
5. Kids began to say "heck of" to keep from getting in trouble w/ parents.

depending on the context of use this can mean any period of time from a few minuites to a very long time. It normally how ever means a long time.

it can also be a sign of agreament

Holland, Texas

Holland, Texas is a small town about 15-20 miles south of Temple, Texas; which is located about 50 miles north of Austin. Holland is the epitome of sleaze and mental retardation. There are two gas stations in Holland, both of which have employees who will never hesitate to make fun of you if you're from somewhere other than Holland. Their education system is pure shit. But on the bright side, if your child is lazy, unmotivated, and doesn't care about a halfway decent life, then by all means, send them to school in Holland.

The entire town is a speed trap. You will be pulled over for going only one mile over the speed limit. And don't expect only a warning, either. The cop is paid on commission.

The people of Holland cannot drive, either. So should you ever have the displeasure of driving through their town, do not be surprised when someone begins tailgating you, flashing their brights, and giving you the finger nonstop. It never occurs to them to pass you.
