Just a couple of cashews

instead of saying "you're nutty" or "you're a nut", you can just say someone is a cashew. Alternatively, you can shorten it to just 'shews.

"Dude what's up with those ppl spazzing out over there?"
"Dunno, just a couple of cashews"
