One of the worst band on the radio. People call it punk, but that's just because they don't know what the fuck punk music is. There hasn't been a real punk band founded in 25 years, let alone Blink 182. They are an industry, and icon, the very antithesis of punk music. This would be excusable if they were a good band, but they aren't. They only sing about their very minor problems, and they can't write good lyrics for shit.

A gay "punk" rock band that has became a hit mostly with teenage girls and some occasional skater fags. All of there songs deal with some type of girl or relationships making them repetitive and unoriginal. Guitar chords are repeated through out all songs with no change and bass is slow and boring. The only talanted member of the band is Travis Barker who's drum skills have been tragicaly wasted with the whinnying of Tom Delong. People think they are the best band ever and the idol of punk music, when they have no idea who the sex pistols or The Clash are. Open your fucking eyes.

A punk band consisting of Mark Hoppus (bass, vocals), Tom DeLonge (guitar, vocals) and Travis Barker (drums). Blink-182 formed in 1992 in San Diego and since then have sold 40 million+ albums. Although being a very talented band with fantastic music, it is probably more accurate to say Blink-182 are a pop-punk band rather than punk, as a certain rebelliousness lacks in their music to be classed as "punk" like the Sex Pistols etc. Nevertheless a great band!!

an amazing punk/rock band. who makes good music and has been doing so for years. they are not posers, and anyone who thinks so is stupid. you can never compare blink 182 to simple plan because they are completely different bands, and genres and are from different times.
