What you tell someone when they have successfully completed a task. If you have a puzzle you are trying to put together, and you finally finish it, you may be told to figure it out.

I had just solved the problem when Lil' Tone jumped in and said 'figure it out'!

figure skater

Ok I need to clarify thigs a bit, the picture above is not called a chinese spiral, it's called a catch-foot, or beilman spiral. And there is no such thing as a "quint axel", the hardest jump in figure skating is the quad axel, never landed in competition, but it is still possible. And I heard all of you talking about how difficult and dangerous figure skating is, but you failed to mention the grace and beauty of the sport.

"Here it comes, the triple lutz, this one's big,..., wow! She landed that so beautifly and gracefully, that take-off was absolutely esquisette, and her height was amazing. She just proved herself to the judges as a TRUE figure skater"

Father figure

An older male with whom you associate as your adopted father. Teenage girls tend to have many father figures in their lives if they are lacking a father or have an issue with their own, actual father.

This also commonly leads to infatuation with older men who are father figures, be it theirs or in general.

Friend 1: Oh, I never had a decent father...
Friend 2: You have father issues?
Friend 1: Yeah. It means I now have a father figure...

Figure.09

Track #8 from Linkin Park's best-selling CD, "Meteora". The award-winning CD was released in the summer of 2003. The track includes a mix of power rock lyrics from Chester Bennington and hip hop lyrics from Mike Shinoda, as noticed in almost all of LP's songs.

After I was finished jamming to "Faint", I listened to the next song on the Meteora CD, "Figure.09".
