Chuckle Out Loud: typed COL. To serve as an alternate to the overused Laugh Out Loud (LOL). A more truthful expression for those times when you do not actually laugh but rather giggle or snicker to yourself.

Jess:I cannot believe I just cut myself slicing an avocado.
Me: Chuckle out loud types : COL

Jess: I just walked into a sliding glass door. LOL

Casual chuckle

The casual chuckle, cc, is used in texting when some one sends you something funny, but you don't actually laugh. Replying with lol, haha, or ROFL makes it seem funnier than it was, therefore replying with cc lets the sender know it was funny enough to get a slight chuckle out of you.

Girl: Did you see the picture I sent you of the grumpy cat wearing the dog costume?
Boy: I did at lunch, cc.

End of a story:
Guy 1: And then she screamed and ran away.
Guy 2: No way man, cc. Did she see you filming?
