asshole broke

Reacting to a personal financial deficit by not providing for one's basic human necessities and ignoring one's obligations to others in whatever means is most self serving while still managing to purchase one's vice.

Me: I'm broke. Like not being able to buy food, and having to choose between the mortgage and the power, but still managing to buy cigarettes type of broke.

Her: oh you mean an asshole kind of broke? 😊

Me: That's a good name for it. I bounce between nigga rich and asshole broke.
