Short for "Baby Boomer"...

A "Baby Boomer" is an adult human within the age range of 60 to 80 years old, "Baby boomers" are the generation which preceded "Gen X"...

"Boomer" is most commonly used by members of the "Millennial" generation, usually to INCORRECTLY refer to their parents whom they are rude to, disrespectful of, & do not appreciate for no legitimate reason at all...
Whether used incorrectly to refer to their parents, or correctly to refer to their grandparents, the term "Boomer", when used by a "millennial", is almost always followed by unethical, immoral derogatory slurs intended to express intolerance & disrespect for them....

THAT is the PROPER, ACCURATE "Urban" definition of the term "Boomer"...

(& No, I am NOT a "Boomer", I am just NOT a spoiled, self entitled, punk, ingrate is all.)

(common incorrect usage example) "I HATE my "Boomer" parents & their "8o's Rock" & their doing everything they could have to make my childhood a utopia I never appreciated because I deserved so much more."

(Rare correct usage example) "I know nothing at all about "Boomers" because my grandparents are old & inferior to me so I don't care about them, but I do somehow blame them for how much my life sucks."

A behaviour that can easily be recognized by the amount of cringe, the people suffering from this behavior, is posting about their hate for technology online, often packaged into a painfully ironic or downright expected meme format (you'll know it when you see it).

The only known cause of this behaviour is mortality salience, which is why all old people and people who discuss politics with anime profile pictures are boomers.

Boomer is a derogatory term used mainly by millennials to disparage people who actually worked to get what they wanted, instead of crying in their entitled rage. A common response when millennials find that they will actually have to work, pay, or function in a society instead of staring at their phones in their parents basement.
