A new social media app whose invite-only beta reached top 5 in the Apple App Store in early 2023. The first large migration of users mainly came from Black Twitter, LGBTQIA+ and other marginalized communities on Twitter. The name of the posts evolved to be known as “skeets.” BlueSky has shown much growth and promise as an alternative to other social media apps especially for those facing discrimination and harassment on Twitter.

BlueSky is an amazing social media platform for those tired of other apps where toxicity and harassment of marginalized communities runs rampant.
