Back in the 70s and 80s, its definition was COMPLETELY different: an ugly girl. (a dog, which chases cars).
Whenever the definition changed to a car freak is beyond me. Looks like a media/cultural-generated propagation of the high maintenance gal. (better than its previous definition, then, perhaps?)

My friend thought she was a tire biter, but I thought she was good looking.

Tire Biter

A girl who is really only interested in a guy because he has a nice car, and it gets him attention, so she wants in on that attention and uses her ass as a free ticket to the car.

If played right by the guy with the ride, he gets to rail a girl outside of his reach because he does have a nice car (or truck... something shiney, tasteful and/or loud)

Tire Biter

A tirebiter is a girl who hangs around car meets, car clubs, or car places in general because she likes to fuck around with boys with nice/fast/show cars. Normally they bounce from car to car, either screwing people in the same club or in the same circle of friends. We call them tire biters as opposed to Pillow Biters because they end up biting tires, not pillows.

Greg: Have you seen that girl Monique?
Jerry: Yeah, she's been fucking everyone in our car club.
Greg: I know, she's such a tire biter.
Jerry: ...But she gives good head

Tire Biter

A tire biter is a man who hangs around women who own fast/show cars/trucks, because he likes to fuck around with them and if they are taken he tries to get them to cheat on their partners.

Normally they like to try their luck with multiple women at once, in the same car club, either ruining friendships in a specific circle of friends or screwing ladies with a specific car. If they have any success, they brag about it afterwards, and accuse the ladies in the car scene of being loose and general being a double standarded sexist prick.

Laura: Have you seen that wanker Ben?

Ashley: Yeah he's been trying to get into the whole club's pants.

Laura: Fuck's sake, he's such a tire biter.

Ashley: Mhmm and then he goes around telling dudes our club are a bunch of sluts. Society is full of double standards. Bloody tire biters!
