The period of time usually around 3 weeks after having a buzzcut, where your hair isn't long enough to lie down on your head, creating long hair that stands up on your head, creating a fuzzy effect.

Max: Man, I wanna grow my hair and get dreads but the fuzzcut in between is making me think twice.
