a song by American rock band Soundgarden. Written by frontman Chris Cornell, the song was released in 1994 as the third single from the band's fourth studio album, Superunknown (1994).
Black Hole Sun was released in mid-1994 and became the most successful song from Superunknown on the American rock charts and arguably the band's most recognizable and popular song.
