Stands for Student Parent Orientation Program.
The student-run Orientation program at the University of California, Irvine that is held every summer for all incoming students.
Though the SPOP Staffers (those that lead this program) are very selfless and generous, there still springs controversy over their true motives and dedication.

UCI Student 1: Dude! Wasn't SPOP so much fun? I got to meet so many friends, and signed up for my classes too! My favorite part was when we all wrote each other warm and fuzzies after crossing the line.

UCI Student 2: IDK man, SPOP lowkey was kinda wack ngl... I couldn't tell who was real and who was fake.

UCI Student 1: Oh fr dude, I totally get you now that you mention it. It definitely did not pass the vibe check.
