Noun. A notebook PC that lets a user flip the screen around and lay it down on the keyboard so they can use a pen to navigate about the computer's GUI and write or take notes directly on the screen using their own handwriting.
I just bought the Toshiba Portege Tablet PC. It's okay, but I wish it had a Centrino Bundle at 2.0Ghz instead of a crappy Pentium 3 at 1.33ghz. And 802.11G. And 4 USB2.0 ports instead of 2. and I want it to be half as thin. And weigh half as much. Is that asking too much?

Microsoft's latest money making scheme is the TabletPC, meant for the rich.

Is sort of a cross between a laptop and a pocket pc. It is the size of a laptop with a keyboard, but you can turn around the sreen and lay it down so that it is a large pocket pc.
The tablet pc was supposed to be the next big thing but it never caught on.
