Name for people from West Germany. It was used before Germany's re-unification when Germany was divided.
Term 'wessi' could be considered negative or insulting but more it's regarded just as part of German culture.

WASSIE 

Wassies are tiny creatures with room temperature IQ. They are usually a mix of platypuses, frogs, ducks, or penguins and the result of radioactive incidents or mysterious apocalyptic events. Their short lifespan extends further if kept in a fridge after which they respawn with the knowledge of their ancestors.

Some people derive amusement from targeting them, while others passionately stand up to their defense but wassies simply cannot be stopped or eradicated.

A practitioner of the art of website design, development, construction, maintenance, rehabilitation and repair. Also known to have a sense of humour and a quiet confidence in their abilities. Usually 6 foot tall, dark haired and bearded and of pleasant countenance. At this stage only the male variety has been found; would also apply to the female when discovered but probably not the bearded bit.

To be electrocuted or killed by an AC current. During the war of the currents Thomas Edison would electrocute and kill animals in an effort to make AC currents look dangerous when compared to his DC currents.
