Thanotech 

Thanos (Greek = death) and tech, short for technician.

A thanotech is someone who works with the technical side of death, like a cryonics engineer or specialist in coma monitoring.

I couldn't imagine being a thanotech, I would be too squeamish around those inanimate bodies.
