All the time you have to leave a space!

A quote by famous Formula 1 driver Fernando Alonso during the 2012 Bahrain Grand Prix
Ok he pushed me off the track I think you have to leave a space, All the time you have to leave a space!

The Times

Not to be mistaken with The time, a band accompanied by Prince and one of director Kevin Smith's characters Jay and Silent Bob favorite bands.

The Times is used described as how life is going. It can be used to describe your life or how the world is doing.
Come gather round people
Wherever you roam
And admit that the waters
Around you have grown
And accept it that soon
Youll be drenched to the bone.
If your time to you
Is worth savin
Then you better start swimmin
Or youll sink like a stone
For the times they are a-changin
(~ Bob Dylan, The Times They are a-changing)

the time

Giving the time to someone means having sexual intercourse with that person.
Salinger uses this phrase quite often in his novel, The Catcher in the Rye.

"I don't think he gave that girl the time that night-but damn near."

The Time Traveler's Wife

One of the best books you will ever read. Also, is a movie coming out August 14, 2009 with Rachel McAdams and Eric Bana. The story is by Audrey Niffenegger and follows Henry as he time travels uncontrollably due to a genetic disorder called Chrono Displacement. He leaves everything but his body behind. He visits big events in his life, most importantly, he visits the love of his life Clare, through all years of her life. A great read.
From The Time Traveler's Wife:
Clare: It's hard being left behind. I wait for Henry, not knowing where he is, wondering if he's okay. It's hard to be the one who stays.

I keep myself busy. Time goes faster that way.
I hate to be where she is not, when she is not. And yet, I am always going, and she cannot follow.
