A person who advocates for extreme measures or restrictions on another person's natural rights only in situations the person thinks they themselves will never encounter. When they do encounter those situations, said person will pretend they had no part in it and blame all the people for whom they thought such measures were REALLY reserved.

There was indeed a major traffic jam downtown due to a stalled vehicle's needing to be hauled off to da service-station for repair, but given da towtality of da circumstances, most of da folks present didn't seem to feel like there'd been much else dat could reasonably have been done.
