Tennessee Technological University

From the beginning, Tennessee Tech has been known as Tennessee’s technological university, and despite the political rivalries of the early part of the century, Tennessee Tech has flourished. All of Tennessee Tech’s undergraduate programs meet established academic quality standards as rated in external peer reviews. The university is also only the second public university to receive a Tennessee Quality Award.

Student enrollment has reached record numbers every year for the past 10 years. Student headcount surpassed the 11,000 mark for the first time in Fall 2010 and currently stands at 11,538 students. It has a beautiful campus and the staff is helpful. Its a wonderful school to attend and is an amazing education for an excellent cost.
Guy 1: So i heard Sara went to Tennessee Technological University?
Guy 2: Yeah! She visited in the fall and fell in love with the atmosphere, and everyone was so nice to her.

Acute Technological ADD

A severe technological/informational overload that, over time, defocuses and numbs individuals such that they fail to close communication loops effectively and/or efficiently and, eventually, in acute cases, fail to respond at all.
The ding-dongs at Time Warner Cable are suffering from Acute Technological ADD. No matter what happens, they never get it right, and they rarely call me back.

Flat Earth Reality UBI Technological Future

It's a theory (more like a fact) that the earth is flat. In a era where robots and AI are doing more and more jobs (including art unfortunately. As an artist, I'm pissed off at AI "Art") and are being automated, we need to tax the robots to have a $5,000 a month UBI (Universal Basic Income) each month for 60 months or 5 years, and bump up the cash for cans from 5 cents or 10 cents per can to like 25 cents to 50 cents per can and provide free gym memberships and free mealprep and free card for food and also a free bed every 3 years and a free couch every 1 year and Universal Basic Free Cheese. Adderall and Ritalin and Modafinil and Adipex and Dexedrine and Armodafinil or Wellbutrin legal for all and you buy it monthly or it's prescribed for ADHD free. Praise Jesus. And MDEA and EA for PTSD.
The future can be bright. $5,000 a month UBI and MDEA HCl (3,4-MethyleneDioxyEthylAmphetamine HCl) and EA HCl (EthylAmphetamine HCl) and Propylhexedrine HCl and Methiopropamine HCl and Cyclopentamine HCl for PTSD and ADHD. Free American Cheese a huge block monthly. Money to buy Cheddar Cheese, Doritos, Cheetos, Chips and Dip, Chicken Pizza, Cheeseburgers, Pumpkin Pies, Reese's chocolate and peanut butter, Hershey chocolate, free foods, and more. Praise Jesus. Theory of Technological Paradigms

The concept, developed by economist Giovanni Dosi, that technological innovation isn't random but follows dominant designs and trajectories set by a technological paradigm. This paradigm defines the accepted model for problem-solving, the relevant engineering skills, and the "common sense" about what materials and processes to use. Progress happens within this box until a technological revolution (a shift) shatters it and establishes a new one.
Theory of Technological Paradigms Example: The internal combustion engine defined a technological paradigm for a century. All automotive R&D was about optimizing pistons, fuel, and metal alloys. The shift to the electric vehicle (EV) paradigm isn't just a new car; it's a new rulebook based on batteries, software, and power electronics, making a century of combustion expertise partially obsolete.

Theory of Technological Social Control

Examines how the very design and infrastructure of technology inherently regulate human action. It’s not just about using tech to surveil; it’s about how platforms, algorithms, and physical devices create environments that make some behaviors easier and others impossible, automating control into the system's architecture.
Theory of Technological Social Control Example: A social media algorithm that demotes or shadowbans content with certain keywords. This is direct, automated technological control. It doesn't require a human censor; the tech system itself is designed to restrict the flow of information and shape public discourse by invisibly governing what can be seen and shared, controlling behavior through interface design.

Technologically illiterate

Someone who doesn't know and will probably never learn how to work a computer or any form of technology, i.e video games, cell phones, microwaves, etc.
Mother: Honey, where's the space bar?
Teen: Mom, its the biggest key on the keyboard.
Mother: Oh thank you, that really helps a lot.
Teen: *Sighs* Mom, you are so technologically illiterate.
