Dixie State University 

Utah's party school. Seriously about the only thing it's known for.

Dixie State University is a small school located in St. George Utah and founded in 1911. Formerly known as Dixie State College. Dixie's mascot is "Big D" which is kind of awesome. Kids go there to 'escape' Utah but still be in Utah. Many mormon freshmen will have their first sip of alcohol while attending Dixie. It's conveniently close to Las Vegas and California and is insanely hot in the summer. A genuinely great school with administration and professors that don't totally suck. Surrounded by beautiful Utah scenery and home to lots of outdoor activities. Like drinking. Lots and lots of drinking.

I heard the business program there is actually pretty good but I can't remember because I was way too drunk.

"Dude you're going to Dixie State University??"
"Yeah I really love it's location, curriculum, and affordability!"
"No, you just wanted to drink way too much and pretend you're still in high school"

Dixie Kong is a fictional primate video game character in the Donkey Kong series.
Identifiable by her pink beret and long ponytail, arguably her most famous attribute is the ability to slow her descent and glide farther by whirling her ponytail in a similar fashion to helicopter blades. Her ponytail can also be used to lift various objects, such as barrels, and carry them over her head. She has a sister named Tiny Kong, and her cousins are Chunky Kong and Kiddy Kong. dixie square mall 

Famous shopping mall in Harvey, Illinois, a south suburb of Chicago. This mall opened in 1966, and closed in 1978. It remaind abandoned and decaying away from 1979 to at least 2006, when demolition began.

This mall was made famous when it was used in the Blues Brothers movie in 1979.

The story of why the mall has been standing for so long and why the demolition of 2006 may be on hold is a sordid tale that includes government corruption, crime, environmental law and a host of other interesting information.
