To leave work immediately when your shift ends, without hesitation or staying a minute longer. Implies urgency and zero interest in lingering once you’re off the clock.
Example 1:
“It hit 5:00 and I smashed the gate—don’t call me, I’m already gone.”

Example 2:
“We were busy all day, so best believe I smashed the gate the second my shift ended.”

Example 3:
“Boss tried to talk after hours but nah, I smashed the gate.”

A saying associated with the mental illness caused from playing the hit RPG Baldurs Gate 3. The subject experiences daily uncontrollable urges to play Baldurs Gate 3 for long hours or else they will experience body pains akin to that of testicular torsion.
