Badger in the mailbox 

A term for an unexpected or unpredictable problem or issue which causes harm, physically, mentally, etc.
Can be used if the problem is self created or not.

Referential to the idea of a mailman’s opening a mailbox unknowingly containing an angered badger

(Self Created Problem) *Joe trips and hurts his nose*
Steve: Man, you really put the badger in the mailbox
Joe: I guess so

(Not self created) *Crazy girl destroys Steve’s car*
Steve: Man I really missed the badger in the mailbox there

Darlton's codename for the third season finale of LOST. They likened this finale to when you get home and open your mailbox and you're like "WHOA!!" because there's a snake in it.

I can't wait to see the snake in the mailbox tomorrow night.

A daring sexual act involving a moving vehicle. Much like "road-head", the receiver sits in the seat while the deliverer pleases him orally. The only difference is that the receiver is in the passenger seat, reaching over to steer the vehicle (much like a mailman on the job).

The Mailbox Test 

When you are viewing a property to buy or an apartment to rent take a look at some of the Mailboxes next door and across the street. You want to look at the names on the Mailboxes because they give you an idea of what kind of folk you'll be living near.

I looked at a decent apartment on Tallman Street yesterday but when I ran The Mailbox Test I was shocked. When I say "Lopez"," Rodriguez", "Vazquez", and "Garcia" on the Mailbox next door I was not renting a place in that motherfucker!
