When a person 'deep-scrolls' they often become unaware of their surroundings and 'zone-out. Deep-scrolling is done without clicking on extra links and is the continual, somewhat involuntary action of scrolling on a device through a social media page.

I'm sorry I'm late, I started deep-scrolling and lost track of time.
