1. Going into the back room under the pretense of practicing the bassoon. However, the perpetrator proceeds to smoke the devil's lettuce, usually using the bassoon as a bong.

2. A euphemism for smoking pot.

Taylor: What were you doing back there?

Ben: Just practicing the bassoon.

Taylor: Oh. Gotcha ;)

pranking 

Is the act of someone ringing your mobile once quickly with caller ID with no intention of you picking it up, so that you will call them back. Generally becuase they are a cheap ass.

It originated from people with little credit on their mobile when they needed to make an important call, now it is misused for unimportant calls and many people wont return the pranking even from friends. It is frowned upon to do so and people who do it often generally end up with little respect.

John: "My girlfriend has been pranking me all night"
Tony: "Dude she is doing that to you way too often"
John: "no shit"
Tony: "what a cheap ass gold digger"

practicing piano 

An extremely stressful process including playing scales, pieces, chords, etc. Can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 5 hours. Usually ends in sore hands and fingers and temporary insanity.

Practicing Mexican 

1. A Mexican American who was raised in a white neighborhood forgot Spanish and adapted white customs. However, tries to regain their lost heritage. Therefore practices.

2. A Mexican American who is more in touch with his/her American side than his/her Mexican side but still eats and celebrates Mexican.

José: You're Mexican? I thought you were white?

Kristen: Yeah, it's because in grammar school I went to an all white school so I kinda forgot my Spanish.

José: Can you speak some?

Kristen: Yeah, I still eat my tortillas and all.

José: Then you're a Practicing Mexican. :

Mormon Pranking 

The act of pulling pranks using clever items such as toilet seats, toilet paper, sonic toys, window paint, and tampons/pads paired with witty puns to convey a certain feeling towards a certain surprised victim. Only friendly, unless anonymous.

Mormon Pranking:

Back for the summer: Toilet seat & Candy canes... "We're so glad you "cane" back, you're the life of the "potty""

After bad break-up/hook-up: styrofoam fish and a plastic diver... "Don't worry there's plenty of other fish in the sea to pass along your strep throat to."

Ex-boyfriend: small tighty whities... "You left these at my house, thought you'd want them back. Love, Snooki."
