Proverb, used when describing the motivation behind an action as being caused by a individual or group's opinion, rather than other factors.
"my biggest gripe is how idiots hop into subreddits and get them shut down because they were posting shit that wasn't allowed in the Reddit TOS (or someone saw it and reported it, which resulted in some overzealous asshole moderator shutting them down over political or opinionational reasons." - Me, on reddit, when I needed a word to describe this sort of motivation but could not think of a word for it, 3/17/2021

Hate Draft
