Quippage

A word used to describe cutting insults or jibes of great wit which few people could pull off regularly.

If someone is said to deliver good quippage, they are known for their excellent conversational skills and uncanny ability to bring rude jackasses down to size with just a few well-timed lines.

Coined by comic superhero Spider-Man in the recent "The Spectacular Spider-Man" comics, known for it's genre-savvy dialogue.
Dr. Octopus: Do you ever shut up?!

Spider-Man: Sorry, no. My fans expect a certain amount of quippage in every battle.

quipster

1. A queer hipster; putting the word queer and hipster together.

2. A snobby lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or queer (LGBTQ) individual who enjoys indie or underground music, frequents coffee shops and bookstores, shops at thrift stores, wears Toms shoes, big-framed glasses, cardigans, turtle-neck shirts, blazers, fedoras, carries around old-school cameras, watches Wes Anderson films, arrogantly spews out their philosophies, etc.
The quipster took off his fedora, grabbed his Polaroid camera, and took an angled photo of a tree while listening to his iPod playing a band you've probably never heard of.

Girl 1: Oh my gosh! I love Tegan and Sara! They're an amazing band.
Quipster: I liked Tegan and Sara before they were cool and mainstream, which makes me cool. You're so lame. Everyone is so lame.

Lesbian 1: Dude, check out the cute dyke in the vest!
Lesbian 2: You mean the quipster playing the ukelele and harmonica?

quipportunity

A quipportunity is the fleeting moment when a clever response is both timely, and funny.

Etymology: The word is an amalgam of 'quip' and 'opportunity' capitalizing on 1) the shared 'p' and 2) the fact that the 'portunity' portion of the word opportunity carries all of the meaning even without the displaced prefix.
I recently had a missed quipportunity when I told my sister that we saw the 2012 "Spider-Man" movie, and she asked how it was. I said it was "awesome," but the missed quipportunity was to reply, "Amazing" (since the name of the movie is "The Amazing Spider-Man").
