The act of being screwed over, fucked over, or hung out to dry by a person previously deemed as a friend. This act is particuarly painful because the person committing it was thought to be your friend.

flanned the headers 

Non maintenance of the cooling system that results in a blown head gasket, antifreeze leaks on to hot exhaust manifold and creates steam. When the antifreeze mixes with the oil it has the color and consistency of flan, thus, the term; “flanning the headers” is applicable.

I flanned the headers and damaged the engine.
