A Person who moves to Los Angeles from out of State (or an international move) in pursuit of fame, fortune or something having to do with the music or film industry.

Person 1: "She's from Baltimore?"

Person 2: "Yeah, she moved to LA to become a screen play writer, she's a total LA transplant"
