Blending of the terms skater and robot.

Their skateboarding is usually very clean and technically advanced, especially on flat ground and ledges. A skatebot can be easily spotted by their fresh (as opposed to hesh) gear, usually featuring a berrics or any kind of purple shirt. Although they may have style and land every single trick, they have no soul.

A: Did you see that 14 year old kid doing a nollie big heel sw back blunt on that ledge?

B: What a skatebot.

Skateboard 

The good ol' plank o' wood. A skateboard is NOT a toy; it's a part of your fucking life, bro. Cruise to school, bomb hills, haul ass, eat shit, and learn a thing or two from and on your board. A skateboard has always been there. Get on and forget all the bullshit; enjoy the ride. You CANNOT use a skateboard as a fashion sense; if you do, you're a shithead. Stereo types aside, it's just a thing that some people like doing. Frowned upon by cops, business owners, and midle aged rich stuck up Bitchy women. You get kicked out of anywhere you can think off by just skating flatground.

Skateboarding is not a crime 

The expression is NOT a reference to people critical of the subculture, nor was it EVER used as an excuse for any real crimes committed by people on skateboards. It was responding to the growing numbers of towns in the 90s ban skateboarding in public, despite the number of people who rode bikes, roller blades, and, oh yeah, drove CARS just as unsafely as skaters skateboard.

Skateboard Alley 

A local, but hidden secret skateboard spot only known by locals of the part of Howell, NJ called "Ramtown". Consists of a Mini- Ramp with talented spray paint on it, which located in the woods. All types of kids hangout there and smoke, skate and sometimes even have sex.

I haven't been to Skateboard Alley in years!
