Hatfield 

A huge fuck up of somthing that was supposed to be great. When you are expecting a great experience or product,but are let down because it really sucked.

Can be used as a noun or a verb:
We went to New York for the O.A.R show, but it ended up being a Hatfield.

Jimmy was busy and in a rush, and ended up hatfielding our wings.

Hatfield 

A redneck farm town in western mass. Population : slightly over 3,000. The home of Smith Academy, the smallest public high school in the state. Known to residents of the Pioneer Valley as a great town to go to if you're looking for a good party in the woods, bonfires, big trucks, quads, guns, boats, beer, and underage sex. Many youngsters begin their steak of debauchery around age 12 or 13. Certain landmarks known to Hatfield residents include: The S-curves, The Park, Root country, Hatfield Pond, The river, The Orchard, Mama's, The Smithsonian, Horse Mountain, The Market aka Monty's, B's, Hatfield Pub, The Polish Club, The Bashin, The Boat Launch, The Power lines, The shallows, etc...

Guy 1: "So what did you do this weekend?"
Guy 2: "Oh man, I don't even know where to begin! I went to Hatfield to bang some freshman, but I got sidetracked at B's and got shitfaced. We drove in circle around town for a while before getting word of a party at Root Country. We got over there but it was a weird party. Everyone was either 15 or 25. I think there was even some guy who was about 30 mackin on some high school chick. It was kinda a fucked up night."

Hatfield Peverel 

A quaint village located in the South East of Essex, England notorious for a strong farming community as well as the level of drive by shootings being considerably larger than that of neighbouring villages.
