1. A woman who runs her own life and doesn't let others make decisions for her.
In these cases, the woman usually does not refer to herself as a trap queen, but her peers refer to her as such.

2. A term often self-referentially used by women who suck dick for cash and drugs and thinks they run things but they don't run shit.

Look at Yolanda acting like she some kinda trap queen.
