Nalish

Nalish is the ship name for Salish Matter and Nidal Wonder. They met as kids and instantly became best friends. Their relationship is beautiful and incredibly close — they can even recognize each other with eyes closed, just by holding hands. The bond they formed early on only grew stronger. They love surprising each other and are clearly happiest when together. Though they’ve always said they’re just best friends, they’ve also admitted having had crushes on each other when they were younger. No one knows for sure if those feelings still exist — but it’s higly possible.

Fans around the world have shipped them from the start, and continue to do so. Occasionally, when one of them collaborates with someone else, fans start new ships — but those last only for a few weeks. The only ship that’s lasted for years, still lasts and always will is Nalish.

Their bond is so strong and profound, they could be whatever they choose to be. But their chemistry is undeniable. One habit they’ve had from the beginning is Nidal picking Salish up whenever they meet. In many of their videos, when they surprise each other, first they hug, and then he lifts her and carries her around. That became their signature move.
