v.t. in const. "switch (one's) hips" 1. To reverse (a girl's) relative position while dancing with her, as by applying pressure on alternate sides of her hips; also, to apply such pressure to guide the girl's hips into a concordant rhythm without encouraging a position reversal.

2. To swing (one's own hips) suggestively.
