Short for delusional (an abbreviation), it’s often used by people (Most likely Gen Z) who think they can end up with their crushes or favorite celebrities / actors. Became popular on tiktok 2023, now everyone calls themself “Delulu” when they think of the most obscure things with their crushes or favorite celebrities / actors.

Abbie: ughhh, Justin looked at me in school today! He definitely wants me.
Mia: Omg GIRL he wants you so bad, I bet he’s thinking of you right now!
Abby and Mia: *Fangirling.*
Kat: Ugh. You guys are so delulu.
