The term refers to the bits of muffin that fall out of your mouth and into your crotch. The bits that are taboo cause they have been between your legs. The term can also be applied to bicuits or cakes.

When your in the cinema and your hands are full you eat your popcorn by sticking your tongue out and the popcorn sticks to it.
