An alterhuman term. Someone who non-physically identifies as a mushroom or fungi, in a spiritual or psychological manner.

Consists of the prefix “myco-“, meaning fungi, and “-thrope”, meaning human.

Separate from phytanthropy because mushrooms are not plants.
Kyle likes mushroom things so much because he’s a mycothrope.

Consists of the prefix “phyto-“ meaning plant, and the suffix “-thrope” meaning human.
