Down nod 

The down nod is a typically male greeting meaning "Hello." It is used for those you consider your equals as well as those you respect. It is more formal than the up nod.

Also known as the "relationship hand hold" the waffle hand hold is when two people hold hands by lacing their fingers together. It's a higher level hand hold, surpassing the pancake hand hold in intimacy.
