Fool's Fortune

The concept that idiots are naturally luckier than other people as a way to balance out their stupidity. Similar to an Idiot Savant, except instead of being brilliant in a specific field, they seem to have a little extra luck wherever they go.
Fool's Fortune is most likely god's way to make things fair for dumb people, for if they were smart and lucky, they'd be too powerful.

Luchador

A Destiny 2 PvP maneuver where a middle tree striker uses the ballistic slam ability to break an opponent's shield from above, then quickly lunge meleeing them. This takes less than a second and is ideal for storming capture points.

It's also called the Dropslam, or Death from above V2.
Luchador is satisfying to pull off, and not to mention effective, but be sure to use syntoceps for more lunge range or else you'll look like an idiot.

This phrase is used after making a strong play in Destiny or Destiny PvE, sarcastically or not.
It is derived from DattoDoesDestiny, Datto for short, who is one of the most famous and skilled Destiny Youtubers.
Unironically:
*Defeats 5 players with one Ballistic Slam* "Is this what it feels like to be Datto?"
Ironically:
*Completes one cycle of a raid encounter after 2 hours of attempts* "Is this what it feels like to be Datto?"

Gauchos

The Venezula equivalent of the american ghetto. Not as tough as the favela, but you don't want to find yourself in one any more than you would a normal hood.
"Did you hear how those tourists tried walking through the Gauchos and ended up getting mugged?
"Yeah, stupid americans."

Scout

The Scout is a playable class in TF2. His main draw is that he has the fastest run speed in the game, can double jump, and counts as two of any other class while capping a point or pushing the cart.

Scout doesn't do very much damage at close range and has very low hp, however, so Scout players usually use his mobility to utilize hit and run tactics, dodge people's attacks, and generally get in people's faces and be an annoying little piece of trash.
Scouts who wear the fast learner/use lime paint/use lennybinds/or use the Force-a-Nature are known as scunts because they are even more annoying than normal scout.

However, if there's a speedy boi running around annoying you and your team, swapping to heavy and equipping the Natascha is an easy way to shut them down.
The Scout is a Speedy Boston Boi who runs fast and gets all the girls.

Polybius

Polybius is one of gaming's most well known myths. Polybius was an unmarked Arcade machine spotted in an unnamed arcade in a quiet suburb of Portland, Oregon, in 1981. The game was described as strange and abstract, but "strangely addicting." Many recreations liken it to Tempest, another arcade game. Strange enough, but then there were the side effects, such as nausea, vertigo, and even night terrors. Stranger still, men in black, supposedly government agents, often visited the machines, giving rise to rumors of a government mind control program. A month later after the machine was first spotted, it vanished, along with any evidence of its existence. The only consistency in the story is the name, Polybius.

Wild story, but it actually has some basis in fact. Around the same time and place the myth was set, incidents of teens blacking out or experiencing similar side effects to the described symptoms after marathons of games such as Asteroids or Tempest, began to crop up. Also, back during that time, Arcades were often the haunts of drug dealers and other participants in illicit activities, resulting in common sightings of Narcotics officers during hours of operation. Finally, the name springs from one of the codenames of Tempest while it was in its beta stages, Polybius.
Polybius is an interesting urban legend that came to be from a mix of very real incidents and stories.

Pyroshark

In TF2, Pyroshark is the name given to the Pyro playstyle of using the Neon Annihilator, and hanging out in places like the sewers on 2Fort, the middle section of Well, or near the middle point on Powerhouse.
This is because the Neon Annihilator crits target that are wet (In or just exited water) so players who use it hang out on maps with water areas exclusively near those areas, hence, Shark.
Pyrosharks are just weird. If there's one on the enemy team, just be thankful they aren't using the Phlog or Reserve Shooter.
