(Informal and offensive) LGBT, transgender or transvestite person, often seen as pejorative in the LGBT community , comparing with she-male 🏳️ ⚧️

Tranny can also refer to a transistor radio in UK. In the US, tranny refers to the transmission in a motor vehicle.

(Brit, informal, offensive, somewhat dated) A person who has intellectual disability (low IQ) (comparing with the US term retard), especially one associated with Down’s syndrome. Probably shortened from the obsolete term ‘mongol’ ‘Down’s syndrome’
