A sub-suburb of New Orleans, where rich snobby people live who think they are better than everyone else. They want to live in New Orleans but live in Metairie becuase of better roads and polic force. Come from money and think it just grows on trees as they all drive around in their Escalades to their lunch dates.

That woman in her mercedes driving to the country club is an Old Metairie mom.
