on the beat

Indicates the arrival of a person to any location (this location is "the beat"). Must be prefaced by repeating the first letter of their name or nickname twice followed by their name or nickname. It is a more hip way of greeting someone as opposed to the standard "what's up"
I saw Richard coming towards me, so I said "Ri, ri, richboss on the beat!"
