Prebound 

A "prebound" is a rebound that occurs before a potential relationship. Someone who is lead on by someone "testing the waters" of two possible relationships.

Sharon realized she was the prebound for Mark when he suddenly started dating Jessica, even though Sharon thought she and Mark were a thing.
