someone who claims that the lesser knowns cause all the problems in the world
1)Mindy of "The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy" is a snob. She thinks Mandy and her ilk are losers, when in reality, she's no better than them.

2): Mindy: "What losers you and Mandy are, Karen!"
Karen: "At least we're not snobs like you!"
Mindy: "I'm not a snob! I can't believe you said that to me, you abnormal freak!"
Karen: "Normal doesn't exist, retard! And I'm a punk, get it?!"
Mindy: "It's you punks who cause the problems in the world!"
Karen: "What about you snobs? We freaks know that if everyone was "normal" like you, the world would be boring".
Mindy: "And it would be peaceful, too."

to hide something that you know is bad so others won't notice it
I tried to cover up my smoking by spraying perfumes and body sprays on my clothes and skin and breath mints, drops, and gum in my mouth to hide the yellowing of my teeth and smelly breath. It worked for a little while until my mother found out. I guess I forgot to cover up after having a cigarette instead of having someone snitch about it like I previously believed. Remember, someone will find out what you're doing even if you cover your behavior or addiction up.

a little bird told me

Someone told me, but I'm not telling you who it is
1)Me: "Mike and Erin got married!"
Casey: "I know. A little bird told me".

2) Parent: "A little bird told me that you have been smoking".
Child (embarassed): "Mother/Father!"
Parent: "Cigarettes are a waste of money just to be burned up!"

cigarettes

something you can smoke every once in a while. You don't have to smoke them every day. I didn't.
1),Jeff: "What's that? It reminds me of when I was a teenager".
Angie: "Karen smokes".
Me (embarassed that she snitched after she promised me she wouldn't): "ANGIE!"
Angie: "Well, you're the one with the cigarettes in your hand!"
Jeff: "Smokey The Clove".

2) When I was a smoker I didn't smoke my cigarettes every day. How can you smokers manage to smoke a pack or two of cigarettes daily? I could never smoke that much. I only smoked six cigarettes maximum in a day, and that was fine for me.

to encourage bad behavior, habits, etc.
Erin's parents enable her and her brother by giving them cigarettes just after he had just quit smoking. If you're a smoker or have other addictions and have parents like hers, don't count on quitting because they will just lure you back into your old addictions.

froot loop

1)Me: "Do you want to know what Arthur thinks lavender smells like? Froot Loops!"

Carol: "Arthur is a froot loop!"

2) Arthur is a real froot loop to think lavender smells like Froot Loops. I smelled it for myself and discovered he was right. Does that make me a froot loop, too?
