The act of bidding on something on eBay while intoxicated. In the following days, the drunk bidder hopes that he/she get outbid and doesn't have to pony up the cash.

While drunk bidding, Jason was stuck with the horizontal band saw after no one outbid him.

The act of making a comment that, while honest, is completely inappropriate.

Boss to Employee: If you keep on eating like that Cheryl, you aren't gonna fit into your clothes. Turns out that being inappropriately honest is frowned upon in the corporate world.

Cellphone Commitment 

The commitment made when a couple decides to join cellphone plans into one. This sometimes has significant ramifications when the relationship goes south.
