jinx removing

v. the process of engaging in superstitious acts in order to end a string of bad luck. usually in reference to bad luck in the relationship department.

Blake's jinx removing consisted of blowing 12 and kissing the 13th finger, then saying, "rabbit, rabbit" on the first, before holding his breath.
