From the software industry, a derogatory term to describe a technology reseller that doesn't add any value for the customer. Essentially, they just focus on moving boxes of product off their shelves without concern for customer service or offering expertise.

I wouldn't get too excited about that Toshiba dealer representing us. Those office equipment dealers are just box movers.

Farm 

A farm is a collection of computer servers usually maintained by an enterprise to accomplish server needs far beyond the capability of one machine.
A common use of server farms is for web hosting, which are sometimes referred to as web farms.

Search is hosted entirely at the central site, either by the central farm or by a farm dedicated to hosting shared services.
