truth and reality war

The inherently unresolvable conflict between the things individuals believe.

Because each individual comes to believe the things he or she believes as a result of his or her experiences, different individuals will always have certain beliefs which are from different to opposite the beliefs others have, and at different times will need to fight in the "truth and reality war."

Beliefs are thoughts linked to an emotion.

a likely benefit triggers action

People and animals decide how to act based on a sophisticated and usually subconscious cost /benefit analysis they conduct.

People and animals have already run a cost/benefit analysis of each behavior they repeat, and know the benefit(s) repeating each of those actions will yield.

When a human or an animal foresees that it is very likely that a specific action will produce a specific benefit, he or she will execute it.

Thus, "a likely benefit triggers action."

Individuals who know more are able to make better decisions and live better.

"Know more know better" is a great idiom. I tell it to my students to encourage them to study. "Know more to live better" is a counterpart.

Safe Smoking

Smoking which takes place in a Safe Smoking Place—a tent, cabin, or booth with a smoke extracting fan on the ceiling to blow the smoke up into the atmosphere where the wind will not blow it into other individual's lungs.

More smokers are smoking in Safe Smoking Places and reducing the number of injuries and deaths caused by secondhand smoke.
