The act of treating a fan term as if it were official just because it has something to do with it but it's not .
Derives from Deltarune's Weird Route being called the Snowgrave Route because the community either thought the route was all about Snowgraving people or hated Berdly. This happened for like 4 years until Toby made everyone call it Weird Route thanks to Deltarune Chapter 4.

The act of deadnaming a platform's old username after it changes its name, prime example being calling X its dead name, Twitter. It's good to be transplatformphobic to Twitter because Elon Musk is using X on everything he owns. fuckin cabbage.
