namaskaram 

the word namaskaram means to pray to someone or any divine power. when the elder relatives arrive to our houses, young ones pray to them by doing the 🙏🏼gesture, which is known as namaskaram. this gesture is not only used to greet elderly or anyone in fact, it is mainly used in praying to gods present in temples by the Hindus.
